About Lisa

I have lived with and loved cats for 50 years, I now have three. I also love dogs and have had two Shepherds and two Labs, All were spayed or neutered and fully vaccinated, I cared for my parents for years. After my father's death, I lived with my mother to give her full time care. She died at 100. I also cared for my husband who died of cancer. I did part time care for my aunt, my elderly cousin and my first husband. I am an artist and writer, and was so employed in New York City for years. Back in Kentucky, I wrote a book about my town, published by Arcadia Press, and am working on another. I founded several community groups here, one of which is still active. I have long been active in historic preservation. In my spare time, I love to read, play the piano, garden, and spend time with my friends. Due to years as a caregiver, my retirement savings are low. I have no children, and one brother in the Northeast. I live alone, and I need a steady source of income.
