Hello: My name is Lisa and I have been a professional nanny for more than 30 years. I have worked privately for several San Diego families and continued with them as their children grew from infants to school age. As a nanny who is also a professional singer, I love to create an open and dynamic learning environment, using music, art, and reading as primary tools for early education. I'm also a very active nanny who loves to plan age appropriate activities and excursions for early socialization and some good old fun! I'm currently working with a family in Oceanside who is relocating out of state mid December. I am looking to start with a new family in January. Looking forward to meeting my new family!

Lisa has been incredible as a full time nanny for our twins. She started with us temporarily when they were 4 months then began full time at 7 months old (twins are now 16 months). We are planning a move across the country to be closer to family and wish Lisa could move with us! Lisa stands out as a caregiver due to her knowledge about age appropriate educational activities, awareness of developmental milestones, and she applies Montessori based principles into her work. She is so patient, loving, nurturing, and fun with our kids. They both smile and want hugs as soon as she arrives in the morning. She is flexible with hours when our work schedules change and can come early or stay later as needed. She helps with preparing food (and milk/bottles when younger), does the kids laundry, always leaves the kitchen and kids areas clean and organized, and takes them on walks and outings. She has experience with the "music together" music classes and brings all the instruments that go with that class, which the kids love for their "music time". She really creates an amazing balance between educational and fun activities for them and is emotionally attuned to their needs. Lisa is skillful at soothing them, especially when they were infants, and knows how to calmly respond to their emotions as toddlers. Lisa is very present when with the kids and does not use phones or screens. I appreciate Lisa's openness to applying our preferred parenting approach and her willingness to seek feedback. She is very trustworthy and professional, such as keeping daily logs to share with us of the kids meals, diaper changes, naps, and outings. Infant and now toddler twins are not easy to manage (especially on your own) but she handles it beautifully and truly loves our kiddos. Clearly, I can go on and on about how much I recommend her. I am happy to answer questions and talk more if you think she might be a good fit for your family.
