About Lisa

I have over 18 years of classroom experience and have had my own tutoring business for 20 years. I absolutely love working with children and helping them overcome their challenges. My experience includes working with children who have Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, and other special needs, including children who are intellectually gifted. In addition, I am a certified Wilson Reading System instructor. Some of my other achievements include being chosen by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to be videotaped teaching reading for professional development and new teacher training for the state of Pennsylvania, named to Who's Who Among America's Teachers, the first recipient of the Annual Golden Apple Outstanding Service Award from my school district, creator and director of a summer literacy and math program for students from preschool to middle school with remedial to advanced skill levels, and a new teacher mentor.
