About Lisa

I have 12 years of public school, teaching experience, as well as over 10 years of tutoring students of all ages. I have taught adult English language learners. I have taught high school English language learners and I have taught 3rd to 10th grade students critical thinking/reading skills/test-taking strategies. I helped raise five godchildren and often had them all together in my home for weeks at a time. I prepared meals for them, (and they often joined in), created routines and schedules for them by taking them out for exercise and shopping experiences, and tutoring them. I incorporated and instilled a sense of sharing, responsibility and curiosity in all of these activities. That's it.
