Experience: 10 yrs
Through tutoring with me, your student will be encouraged to make discoveries and develop a joy for learning. I have over 20 years experience as a tutor. I can teach your child to read and I can tutor a young adult in algebra and am able to tutor many other subjects. I have a master of arts (MA) in curriculum and instruction and a master of arts in teaching (MAT) in mild interventions. I have worked with students aged 4-64. I teach to a student's strengths to overcome his or her weaknesses. I enjoy getting to know a student's interests and I incorporate those into the teaching. I take pride in individualizing my lessons to fit the needs of each student. I look forward to being in contact with you.

Lisa has been working with my twins for ten months in math and language arts/reading. She is kind yet firm when need be, which is a combination that I like. They like her and they have grown a lot this year. We've asked her to continue over the summer and all next year as well.
