About Mia

I have been a first grade teacher for the past five years, and I have loved every opportunity to help children learn, grow, and become more confident in themselves. I have also enjoyed working with kids outside of the classroom as a girls soccer coach. While I was in college, I worked as a nanny every summer and also worked as a full-time nanny during COVID. My husband and I recently moved to the area for his job this summer. I believe children should have lots of opportunities to be creative, curious, and hands-on in their learning. I love coming up with fun activities that allow kids to explore, create, and learn through play. I also understand that being a nanny means helping support the whole family. I am happy to help with everyday tasks such as running errands, doing laundry, grocery shopping, and transporting children to activities, school, or appointments. I am excited to continue to help kids learn and grow!
