About Lindsey

I'm a mom, longtime childcare provider, and former owner/director of a small Waldorf-inspired home preschool and urban farm school. I've cared for children since 2009 while creating a life that allowed me to be present in raising my own daughter. Today, my daughter is homeschooled through a hybrid program, and I'm opening our home and our days to one or two little ones, ideally infants through toddlers. Our days are warm, playful and connected to nature--walks, parks, library trips, stories, art, imaginative play and plenty of unhurried time to simply be little. Children in my care become like family. I know how hard it is to leave your little one when you wish you could be home. My goal is to offer the next best thing: a loving, home-based environment where your child is genuinely known, nurtured and cared for with the tenderness and attention I'd want for my own.
