Lindsay worked with us for several months. She watched our 4yo daughter for 3 hours on the weekends, while I was in the home. She watched our daughter for about 6 hours at a time on occasion, still with me in the home. We had her give snacks, supervise meals, bathe our daughter, and play. Lindsay has a calming presence and she really tunes in to the child. She is careful to balance the types of activities she did with our daughter (no screen time, creative, imaginary play, crafts, active time, etc.). She always accommodated our requests as far as how we parent. She genuinely tried to follow instructions, and showed patience & persistence when our daughter was not cooperative. Lindsay said she did not want to come back to work for us when we asked her to get tested for covid after having flown and stayed for about a week in a state with high numbers of covid. We saw this as a lack of consideration for the safety of our child and that is why we would not rehire her.
