About Linda

I have 15+ years of experience working with children and seniors. I worked several years at an aftercare program at School in The Villages caring for 2nd graders. I also have experience in working with seniors. In particular, worked for years with a woman who had the onset of Alzheimer's. I cared for her by helping her do simple chores (watering plants and laundry). We also spent the day grocery shopping, going to events in (bingo, dominos, volunteering, listening to music, etc.). My personal goal was to be her friend and companion. I would say at the end we were best friends and enjoyed everyday. Recently, I cared for a woman who was wheel chair bound, due to a knee replacement that did not go well. My day comprised of preparing meals, managing her prescriptions for the day, wound care, puzzles, laundry and taking her to Hospital for infusions.
