About Linda

Raised type 1 diabetic, now 54. I am now 76. Worked as secretary, studied in nutrition & biology to keep my daughter alive, now in Caregiver field 5 yrs. I have worked with diabetics, dementia, neurologic (including Parkinson's), autistic & Downs clients, as adults, post hospital & end of life. My attitude is to help client deal with the abilities & disabilities their bodies confront them with while maintaining gratefulness and enthusiasm for each day. I cook & help with special diets, do light housework, pet care & plant care, med compliance, OT/PT exercise compliance, mobility assistance, bathing, hygiene, bowl & bladder care. I love nature, walking, my cats and old movies.
