I have been pet sitting and dog training off and on for most of my life - starting when I was 8 years old :-). The leash training I teach evolved out of the part-time dog walking :-). People would see me walking multiple dogs with no problems and ask me to teach their dog. (Secret: teaching the dog is easy... teaching the human is harder :-)). The pet-sitting also evolved out of the dog-walking. My clients knew I would take great care of their dogs, and of course at home is better than in a kennel, right?
