I have been caring for seniors for the past 40 plus years. I have worked with a lot of dementia type illnesses, including my own mother. I truly love working with the elderly and allowing them to be able to stay in their own home gives me great satisfaction.

After my mom fell in August of 2022 we knew we needed help to watch mom while we were at work. When Linda first started helping us Mom was walking, talking, feeding herself, and taking care of all her ADLs. Unfortunately, as my mom's dementia advanced so did her needs and daily care. She needed reminders to use her walker and sometimes assistance to walk to the bathroom. Mom also needed help cleaning herself and eventually, she needed to wear pullups. Linda was adaptable and flexible. Mom's moods also began to change rapidly from smiling to scared, to anxious, to angry without any provocation. So Linda had to evaluate Mom's mood and administer the appropriate medications. Additionally, Linda knew just what to say or do to calm her so she wouldn't spit out her medication. Mom also had exacerbations of her asthma with shortness of breath and wheezing, so at times Linda had to assess Mom's breathing and respirations and administer medications for her shortness of breath, and at the very end oxygen. She cared for my mom just like family. She was always patient and kind to my mom and me. While at work, I never worried a second about my mom while Linda was there. My mind was totally at ease and she always went the extra mile by giving me full reports about Mom's intake, bowel movements, and mood. Eventually, my mom was admitted to hospice. A significant change for our family, but Linda was there with her invaluable experience and loving nature to guide us and support us through these tough years. I can't imagine going through these past two years without her! If you need a knowledgeable, competent level-headed, loving, patient, kind, supportive caregiver for your loved one look no further, hire Linda!
