I've been involved in senior care giving for about 2 years. It first started with going to nursing homes for casino night. They love having people to talk to. They would have so much fun. I did that for 5 years, once a month. That turned into me taking my 86-year-old mother in and becoming her care giver. I did her laundry all of her cooking helping her get dress taking her to appointments. We played games and went for walks . I was also a Care Giver for my 82-year brother-in-law. I helped with housework a little cooking and cleaning. I also played cards with him and chess. We would go for walks and sit and bird watch. If you have a senior that likes to play games or chess and sit and watch movies. I would like to meet them. Recently I became my brother's caretaker. He had cancer, and I became responsible for looking after him. He was in hospice, but I was taking care of him. It was demanding and stressful but rewarding. He has move on, but I can say I was my brothers keeper !
