I have had cats and dogs all my life. Lots of cats and dogs! At one time we had 3 dogs and 8 cats. We've always opened our home to stray animals and hard luck stories. We had 2 dogs pass away within the last year an 18-year-old black lab and a 17-year-old whippet. We are currently fostering dogs we rescued from a high kill shelter on the south side of Chicago.
