I'm a Swedish born woman with many years of experience in all aspects of nursing care. I handle basic personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding etc.) I manage medicine, do tube feeding and give injections. I have much experience with dementia patients, physically disabled patients and hospice care. I am trained to handle unique situations. I work all shifts, days, evenings and/or nights. I am known as a workhorse, I'm quick on my feet and quick to respond to emergencies. I am a happy person, responsible, caring and with a great sense of humor. Let's meet and see if we're a good fit.

I hired Linda in late 2024 to help our family care for my mom in her later stages of colon cancer. During that time we had a family member at the home more-or-less 24/7 and Linda would help us during the day. At first I was pleased with the good qualities that Linda brings to caregiving. She quickly developed a good relationship with my mom, she was almost always on time, and she showed a fairly broad range of caregiving skills. Overall Linda has a strong personality and confidence that can be beneficial in many caregiving situations. However, she has other characteristics that can be detrimental, as it was, in our situation where Linda pushed to assert herself as the decision maker. If I challenged or questioned a care decision she made, she took it as a personal affront and looked to other family members and hospice staff for support. This led to conflict and division between family and shifted the attention from my mom to her. Ultimately, she abruptly resigned one week prior to my mom's passing. If you are hands-off and need a caregiver that can do the job, then Linda may be a good choice for you. She wasn't the best choice for us.
