About Linda

In general, I am an animal lover at heart. For most of my life, I have had cats as pets (more like family members) and also, dogs. For about five years, I had a 50-gallon fish tank as well. I am currently the mother of 7 rescue cats, and a beta fish named Blue Sky who's befriended other fish in my 10 gallon tank. By chance, or destiny I somehow ended up in the animal rescue field. During the 36 years that I had lived in Florida, I had rescued numerous birds, including an egret, a barn owl, a few seagulls, a baby blue jay, baby starlings and a cormorant (my most memorable). My family and I had also encountered and rescued a number of stray dogs and cats, a baby mole, a fruit bat, a baby squirrel, a few turtles, and lastly, a baby rat we'd found in our back yard. Although I haven't done any pet sitting for a living, I am confident that I would be an excellent candidate for the job whether your loving pet wears fur, scales, or feathers! With my love of animals comes great care.
