I have a mental health counseling background I am able to build strong relationships with clients and their families in order to ensure that their physical, emotional and social needs are met. I have worked with an agency in the past assisting elderly clients in their homes and for the past 3 1/2 years I have had the privilege to work with one client who has Parkinson's disease. I know how scary it is to trust someone with your loved one, I will treat your loved one as if they were my family member. Lina is an ideal care taker! She is conscientious, detail oriented and kind. We have had the wonderful pleasure of having Lina help with the care of my father. He has a multitude of medical problems, which has prompted close coordination of medicine, doctor visits, and lab draws, all of which Lina has closely managed. She is flexible with changes in plans for the day, pivoting as needed. She is very punctual and reliable. Her patience in dealing with the foibles and eccentricities of my father is truly impressive. She is always thinking of what is best for her charge and how she might anticipate his needs.
