About Lily

Hi there! My name is Lily and I am student at Oregon State University majoring in Nutrition. I offer tutoring for numerous subjects: Spanish, Language Arts, Writing, Algebra 1, Gemoetry, Chemistry, Biology, and History. As someone who has struggled with confidence as a student and has needed tutoring myself, I can confidently say that I understand the dfficulties, frustration, and lack of self confidence that can come with needing extra help. My tutoring services offer a compassionate, patient, and understanding approach to teaching. I have background expereince as a Learning Asisstant for General Chemistry at Oregon State University where I helped faciliate learning in the classroom. This position has provided with me with many tools to be able to effectivly teach students of various backgrounds and abilities. Specifically, I encourage confidence, critical thinking, fun, and compassion for yourself when learning new concepts and buliding understanding.
