I was a third grade teacher from 1989 to 1994. I stopped teaching when we had our first child. I was a stay-at-home mom for 24 years. I homeschooled my three daughters. I also taught Elementary Spanish classes and Literature classes at our homeschool in those years. I also headed up and ran Standard Achievement Testing for our homeschool for several years. I am currently employed part time as a Direct Support Professional for a special needs 23-year-old girl. As part of my job, I tutor her in English, Reading, and Math.
