About Lilly

I'm a mom of two girls. I've been in childcare since I was a teenager. I've worked with Americorps as a teacher for all ages, and studied early childhood development. I'm studying ASL to eventually work in a deaf school. I have a natural ability to understand children and follow Waldorf style parenting, focus on creating space of emotional safety and communication. I do arts/crafts and create a fun time for my own children, or those I work with. I have a ton of references and am looking forward to finding a family to work with long term. Pay is negotiable based on many factors. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, emotionally intelligent, and eager to learn. I am a reader, writer and an artist. I also collect pocket watches, and enjoy biking with my children. I work well with open, honest, direct communication. I meet children where they need, hold space for feelings and help children to understand themselves and learn to manage how they feel. I believe in creative problem solving.
