About Liliya

Hey dear parents! My name is Lilly, I am a licensed Special Education & certified ESL teacher. I've been working with my little friends (ages 5-10) for over 5 years now and I truly love it! Being a teacher with international experience (worked in Russia & China prior to moving to the USA) I think I found a way to get along with every (even the shiest!) child! As a SPED teacher, I know various effective strategies on how to work with kids with ADD/ADHD, behavior disorders, speech & language impairments (but I am NOT a speech & language pathologist), and learning disabilities. My lessons are fun and engaging yet rigorous! I always set high expectations and make sure a child achieves his/her goals in the desired timeline! Whatever we're learning - ESL, reading, math, social skills - I always incorporate play and creativity into my lessons. I look forward to meeting you & your child soon!
