I have always enjoyed teaching and helping others learn and grow! As of 2023, I've had about 5 years of paid tutoring / teaching experience. During college, I worked as a teaching assistant for biology and chemistry courses which involved tutoring students on a weekly basis. Throughout college I also volunteered for Big Brothers and Big Sisters in which I would tutor an elementary school student weekly in both math and ELA. After college, I worked as a high school Earth and Environmental Science teacher which involved taking teaching certification courses and passing the General Principles of Learning and Teaching Praxis exam and the Science Praxis Exam. Finally, I've been working in a Baltimore City elementary school as a literacy tutor since August 2022.
