About Lilia

I enjoy caring for children and influencing their growth as individuals. My experience caring for children includes teaching good manners, how to care for and respect others, singing songs, reading books and encouraging them to read and be creative. I like to encourage children to learn as they're playing, as well as teaching them Spanish words if they show interest. The majority of my teaching experience was at Merryhill Pre-School, where I worked with 3 and 4-year-olds and toddler groups for over 10 years. I also babysat for a couple families and worked as a substitute teacher for Headstart Pre-Schools both before and after my time at Merryhill. Starting in July 2022, I took almost a year off to live with my daughter and son-in-law to help them take care of their newborn daughter in Southern California. I just recently moved back to the Rocklin area and I am looking to continue to take care of children and working with great families. References available upon request.
