I work full-time as a student success coach in a 5th grade English classroom in JP, but I've been interested in working with kids since I was 13, when I had my first experience babysitting! I then began to work at a daycare in my community, at which I eventually became manager, overseeing the safety and planning activities for kids from ages 1-11! I love spending time with all ages and believe the best care for children comes from a foundation of understanding between the adult and the child, so I always prioritize engaging in play and prioritizing child-directed activities, as well as encouraging new games and supporting learning!
