I have been a professional nanny for five years. I started working with children when I was 15 and got my AS in Early Childhood Education last year from Cabrillo. I've worked with children of all ages. I've been with the same family for four and a half years, the kids are for five nine and 10. I have been a nanny and babysitter to all ages, including several infants and some had siblings. I also taught gymnastics for five years and was the preschool director for a year. I love everything about children (they are the first thing I see when I'm out in public), even the difficult behaviors. I believe in play based learning (I encourage reading and music) and do not rely on TV or electronics to keep children entertained. I love being out doors and am very active.

Lila has been caring for our infant since she was 5 months old. Working with her for the past 5+ months has been wonderful. I completely trust her and know that our daughter is in good hands when my partner and I are at work. Lila is punctual, adaptable with our schedules/routines, and has even helped teach our little one signs that have facilitated her ability to communicate her basic needs. Lila also keeps our daughter active and makes sure they get outside for walks, trips to the park, etc. She truly cares for our daughter, who gets excited when Lila and her puppy arrive in the morning. She loves Radar, Lila's puppy. We do not have a pet, so having our daughter get that exposure has been wonderful. He is sweet, well-trained, and Lila always brings a little cage/kennel for him so that he can be contained safely when our daughter is eating, napping, etc.
