About Liesha

Hello & Welcome! My name is Liesha and I'm currently seeking a F/T (or two P/T) nanny position(s). I've been working with children, off and on, for 10 years and I'm a parent myself! This summer I'm teaching a nature-based preschool summer camp and I'm in school studying child development. I have experience teaching enrichment classes and camps to children and have worked with museums, science centers and in local schools. I approach childcare the same way I approach parenting and believe that every child deserves respect, compassion and love. I like to meet children where they're at developmentally and emotionally and teach them the skills they need in that moment. A hug can go a long way! We all want to feel seen and understood. I enjoy interacting with children, making snacks and baking together, reading books, singing and dancing, going on nature walks and playing fun learning games.
