Hi! My name is Libia I've been taking care of kids since I was kid! So, I know a lot about them. 

I have more than 10 years of experience taking care of children. I have worked at a daycare and took care of my baby brother (who is 12 now) on Care. com I have worked for over 30 families. I have watched children from 3 months old to 15 years old. Siblings & multiple children at once (at birthday parties) as well.

I am a Brazilian Portuguese fluent speaker, if you want your kid to learn some words in a new language! I'm extroverted, I love pets and have a cute cat of my own. I love music, arts and am a really good crocheter & knitter. Kids always have a lot of fun engaging in crafty activities with me. 

I am currently looking for one-time & part-time positions, with the possibility of becoming full time in the future.

We super recommend Libia! She has a great combination of a relaxed and fun attitude with the kids, and excellent communication and competence with us. She has been babysitting our 8 and 6 year olds and they have had a fabulous, creative, playful time with her, and yet she's able to manage household tasks like feeding and cleanup, bedtime routine, laundry folding promptly and reliably. We are grateful to be working with her!

Libia has been a wonderful addition to our home! Libia is patient, creative, and fun. She is the energy our baby needs to stay active and motivated. She'll read him books, engage in play, assist in developmental exercises like crawling and standing, and take him for the extra long walks he loves and needs. Our baby is also needing extra support during naps, and Libia is so gracious and patient to rock him to sleep, and able to come up with creative methods to relax him before naptime. She'll update my husband and I on how he's doing throughout the day with photos, ask questions, and help with  household chores which makes such a different in our day to day.
We feel so lucky to have her in our lives! 

There’s this thing that happens when Libia walks in the door: the baby (ours, nearly seven months old, occasionally ornery) suddenly becomes this incandescent little sun. And honestly, we’re not sure if it’s her punctuality (perfect, every time) or the general force-field of good vibes she carries in with her, but the whole house seems to shift to a lighter, sunnier place. And while he’s napping she always helps tidy up, no fuss, no performance, just an instinct for making life a little easier. Hire her. Life gets measurably better when you do. 

Libia babysat for our 7 and 10 year old kids in Ballard for some date nights.  She was very communicative with us and flexible. Our kids enjoyed playing with her, and they are picky, so that is really saying something.  She was attentive with them and not on her phone like some other occasional caregivers we have had.

My wife and I have been working with Libia now for the better part 4 months and couldn't be more pleased. 

She cares for our daughter that is 1.5 years old, very active and has a strong opinion to say the least. Not only do we feel comfortable with Libia caring for our daughter, she works very well with her as it relates to engagement (puzzles / arts and crafts / daily walks to the playground / creative activities inside the home as well on rainy days.) 

Libia has been extremely punctual throughout the course of our working relationship and has incredible communication skills. In the instance she was going to be a few minutes late she let us know in advance so we could prepare. She sends updates to us through the day (both photos and text) to let us know how the baby is doing and has the ability to think on the fly when it comes to snacks/lunch needing very little direction.

Highly recommend and happy to serve as a reference.

Libia helped us with a couple of days of backup care, and she provided excellent care for our 2 kids in a nanny-share. She took them for a walk, played with them, changed and fed them, and let us know how they did during the day. We'd be happy to hire Libia again in the future!

Dependable, reliable, and very communicative. Libia was able to handle my 1.5 year old and 4 year old. She also watched over my 5 year old after he gets home from school just like that. I would hire here again. She was also willing to take in home covid test to make us feel more comfortable, we really appreciated that because our nanny is currently out because of Covid and we wanted to make sure everyone is safe. I felt relaxed working with Libia around.

Libia has been working as a mother's helper for our family for a couple of months now.  She is very punctual, dependable and trustworthy. She is also very playful with the kids and does a great job of keeping them engaged. My kids love having her around. She has been flexible on the weeks when I needed a different time slot. She also helps me with chores like laundry, meal prep help and organization. I had some specific needs regarding how stuff gets organized and she has been very willing to work with me on that. 

Libia was our first nanny ever and first hire on care.com, and we've had such a lovely experience working with her. We hired her 3x per week for the past 2 weeks. We told Libia that our LO needs to be kept busy so she doesn't go looking for her dad while he's working from home, and she kept her entertained. She sends me photos of the both of them together and my LO looks super happy! When our LO was napping, Libia cleaned her bottles, too! She was so helpful. We've also hired her for date night, and we felt at ease leaving our daughter with her. Highly recommend!

Libia was great! I needed a sitter quickly and last minute and she was available, she was great with the kids, even our youngest daughter who usually cries every time we leave but our daughter was fine and did great.

I want to mention how great experience was hiring Libia, starting right from the interview; she connected right away with my usually shy 4 yo daughter, Libia talked to her and told her what they could play together, so my daughter got excited about seeing her again next day. She took care of my 4 yo girl and my 1 yo boy, she was definitely punctual and answer to all my messages promptly right from the beginning. I would totally hire Libia again.
