About Libby

Aloha! My name is Libby and I am an engaging, energetic, gentle and nurturing person. I am from Minnesota and have been on island for 3 years. I moved to island for undergrad and am currently in a gap year before returning to school this fall to get my masters of social work at UH. I currently work as a full time substitute teacher at an elementary school in Kalihi. I've always enjoyed working with children and exploring life through their eyes. In my free time I enjoy anything outdoors, especially biking and going to the beach. I also love to create art and crafts. Regarding experience, I grew up babysitting siblings and neighborhood children. I worked as a nanny throughout highschool and babysat here and there in college. I now work full time at an elementary school and have a couple families I regularly babysit for.
