About Libby

Hello. My name is Libby. I strive to live life and love others as Jesus calls us to. Having grown up in a large farm family in Southeastern Iowa, I have come to care deeply about leading by example, so as to instill values that set up our youth and future generations for success. Those values, to name a few, include work ethic, patience, perseverance, helping one's fellow neighbors, and honoring the dignity and respect for one's self as well all other human beings. I have over 20 years of experience assisting children and adults with a variety of physical and mental disabilities in home, facility, and school settings. I've experienced that every learner is different, and that it is important to develop strategies that best support that learner's style, personality, and level of development. At the end of the day, I also realize that it is I who learn so much more from that particular student, or previous client or patient, than I could ever have taught him/her!!
