About Lia

Hello! My name is Lia and I am a nurse with NICU and pediatric operating room experience! I love working with children of all ages and abilities! I have cared for a range of ages, from infants all the way to young adults. I also have extensive experience with children and young adults with special needs. My main experiences before becoming a nurse have been through caring for those with autism and cerebral palsy. I love to find games and activities that speak to children's individual interests and play styles, and find myself to be very flexible and patient. I am also able to cook meals, do light house tasks, and am comfortable of pets of all kinds. As well as childcare, I pet sit for families in my area, whether it is just for a few hours, or for overnight vacations. I have had dogs my entire life, and love animals of all kinds. I am very comfortable with most types of pet care and special circumstances that they might require. References available!
