About Leyla

I graduated from Ithaca College in the spring of 2018 with a Bachelor's of Science in Speech- Language Pathology and a minor in Education Studies. I will be completing my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology this Spring 2022. In the past I worked at a day care in my hometown in NJ during my breaks while in college. My role at the day care was an assistant "floater" teacher. Being a "floater" teacher allowed me to work in any classroom that needed an extra pair of hands and eyes. I loved working at this day care because I had to the opportunity to work with children ranging from 3 months old to 9 years old. After graduating from Ithaca college I began working as a special education paraprofessional for the Somerset Hills School District and have been there since. I've always loved children and plan to work with them as a future speech-language pathologist. Looking forward to getting to know you and your families! :)
