About Leyla

I enjoy caring for seniors because it gives me the opportunity to have a positive impact on people's lives as I ensure they feel valued, respected, and cared for. Building meaningful relationships and hearing the life stories of those I care for is very rewarding and important to me. Providing compassionate and focused care also lets me support their well-being and enhance their quality of life as much as I can while garnering skills that I will use as a future nurse. I'm looking for a job where I can make a meaningful difference in someone's life and have a supportive work environment. I started caring for seniors in 2020 as a private caregiver for an elderly woman in a nursing home and stayed with her until the beginning of 2021. After, I worked as a caregiver at a nursing home while I earned my CNA license and began working as a CNA until I began nursing school in January. In my spare time I like to go on hikes, hang out with friends, cook new recipes, crochet and puzzle!
