I am writing this letter with a strong and heartfelt recommendation for Leticia as your next nanny. Leticia has been invaluable to our family for the past 3 and a half years, giving so much love and care to our children. We view her as part of our family and all of us will miss her so much. Leticia started with us when my first child was 3.5 months old. She helped with my transition back to work and always made me feel included in the activities they were doing throughout the day by sending pictures and writing down her schedule. My daughter was always excited to see Leticia in the morning and sad to see her go. She would walk with her all over the neighborhood, making her friends and going on little adventures. During COVID she was incredibly accommodating. When she came back with our family, we tested every week at Dodger Stadium and she was such a trooper sitting in that line for an hour every week. It's a testament to how much she respected our need to stay safe and valued her own safety. When my second baby came along she was so helpful in distracting my older one (who had a rough transition to being an older sibling) and was mindful to give me time with my older one by taking the baby. Being with both of them is challenging but she managed just fine and always had a smile on her face. She juggled bottles and naps of the baby alongside the demanding needs of a toddler. With the kids, she was always smiling, singing, reading to them, playing with them and dancing with them. As our kids grew she made a huge effort to be social with them by taking them to the library, the park, music classes and play dates. She even made US friends with families in the neighborhood! She is so adaptable to our kids' needs as they change. She is amazing at imaginative play, always playing along in a fun and spirited away. Our older one can be difficult at times and Leticia never takes her tantrums too seriously and helps her calm down. Leticia also always respects me when I want special moments with the kids and gives me space to be with them (I never have to ask, she just knows). When the kids nap she always keeps herself busy by doing chores around the house, dishes, straightening up and doing the kid's laundry. Leticia is so easy to get along with. She has a calm and kind energy. Even my extended family loves her so much. Most of all we trust Leticia with our kids. There is never a moment I don't think she isn't doing what is best for them. She gives our kids so much love and kindness and we can't thank her enough for giving us the peace of mind knowing our kids are safe. Leticia also has a wonderful family of her own, her husband and two daughters, and you can tell how much her love for family is important to her. Leticia is truly one of a kind.
