I love helping others who may need a helping hand, including seniors who want to stay in their homes or are transitioning in to a living assistance apartment community, doing light house keeping, laundry, cooking meals and helping with medication reminders. I've assisted several friends and my own elderly father in law who lived in Austin until age 95 years old. I am also comfortable with assisting families who have loved ones that have been diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer's. I've been told that I have a caring and compassionate heart and they enjoy my conversations & company. I rescued a small kitten years ago and was able to find a home for him within a week via my friends' network. I've also watched and cared for Senior dogs and cats as well. I have grown up with dogs, mostly chihuahua/part dachshunds, German shepherds, Labs, a chow, and a golden retriever. I love their different personalities and their expressions. I love animals and enjoy walking and playing with them.
