About Leslie

I am a college freshman at BYU and a first-generation college student. Since graduating from high school in 2020, I have been caring for seniors. My goal is to become a nurse, and I have experience caring for seniors with various health conditions such as dementia/Alzheimer's, using walkers, having had a stroke, MS, being paralyzed, and more. I prioritize building strong relationships with the seniors I care for to establish trust and improve their quality of life. I aim to bring positivity, hope, and compassion to my interactions, and I am always willing to lend a listening ear, even to repeated stories. My focus is on creating positive and peaceful experiences for my residents, and I actively engage them in physical exercises recommended by physical therapists to help maintain their mobility and strength. Each care plan is personalized to promote independence.
