I have taken care of several elderly people in my neighborhood. I never actually looked for a job before. People just heard of me by word-of-mouth. The elderly like having me over because I genuinely enjoy chatting with them and hearing about their lives. Enjoy helping them find joy in their days even as many frustrations of age and ability get in the way sometimes. I can grocery shop and cook, and can keep the house spotless. I do have two dogs at home so will need to check on them if I work full days. They are OK on their own overnight.
