About Lesley

I'm a new professional nanny with a wealth of experience caring for young children and teens. My mother ran a home daycare when we were children growing up in the UK so I've always been around young babies and toddlers. I was a regular babysitter for many families as a teenager myself and have been a very involved caregiver and Auntie to 6 over the past 20 years and a Mama myself for almost two years. I'd like to work for a family who won't mind that I'll be bringing my toddler along with me. I very much enjoy working with children and helping them grow and learn. I consider myself skilled with maintaining routines, managing mealtimes and sleep schedules, and facilitating nature based play. I adhere to gentle discipline strategies and enjoy creating new experiences and adventures for little ones. I would describe my personality as caring, trustworthy, and kind, and have been known as such in my pre-mama life in co-op leadership. I look forward to meeting your family!
