About Leona

Hi, I'm Leona! I'm a San Diego native, but love DC-living as a graduate student at Georgetown University. I'm one of 5 children and come from a very supportive and tight-knit family. I'm dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for your little ones. I believe in fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere where children feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring their surroundings. My patient and friendly nature allows me to connect with children effortlessly and build strong relationships with them. During my time as an (US Fulbright) English Teaching Assistant I learned that I really excel at building rapport with students and creating an environment conducive to learning and growth. When it comes to communication, I prioritize transparency and open dialogue. I follow the preferred communication method of each parent to ensure that we're on the same page regarding their child's well-being and progress.
