Hello! My name is Leona and I have been working with children for nearly 20 years now. my love of caring for children started way back in high school. I started with volunteer work and baby sitting then moved on to working as a toddler teacher in a licensed child development center. In the fall of 2021 I switched focus to being a nanny. Since then I have been a nanny for 2 families, each position lasting multiple years. I have over 5 years experience as being a early education teacher with a focus on working with the ages of 1-3 years of age. I have experience working with children from 6 weeks to 12 years.

If I could give more than 5/5 Stars for Leona’s rating, I would! Leona has been with our family for nearly three years. She has been the primary care provider for our two daughters, ages 7 and 4. Leona is incredibly reliable and trustworthy, as well as creative and warm. Leona’s presence not only puts our kiddos at ease, but us as parents as well. If I feel worried about something regarding the kids, Leona brings such a calm presence and strengths in problem solving. Though our youngest is headed to preschool, we hope to keep a relationship with Leona. She has become such a steady person in our family.
