About Lena

Caring for kids has always been a big part of who I am. I currently work at the YMCA in the after-school program, where I get to spend my afternoons helping kids learn, play, and grow in a safe, fun environment. I've spent the past two years caring for kids of all ages -- from infants to pre-teens -- and I love bringing patience, creativity, and plenty of energy to every day. Whether we're playing outdoor games, doing crafts, or working on homework, I always aim to make our time together meaningful and fun. I'm First Aid and CPR certified, and I'm comfortable watching up to four children at once. I'm also happy to help with meal prep, carpooling, and swimming supervision. Communication is really important to me, so I always make sure to keep parents updated -- whether it's through a quick text, phone call, or in person.
