About Lelia

Hi there! My name is Lelia and I am currently a Special Education teacher in Norfolk, Virginia. I teach students with a variety of special abilities (Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disability, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Specific Learning Disability, and Other Health Impaired (ADHD)). Due to my career, working with students, and my many years in customer service (being management at a pool for 6 years) I have great people skills and am great at resolving conflict. I also have many resources to help children with tutoring and am available for that as well. I have been a lifeguard for 7 years therefore, I am CPR/First Aid certified. I also have ample experience with teaching children to swim. I have been babysitting since I was about 12 years old (I am now 23) and it's a job that so love to do. I am also looking for a nannying opportunity this summer, my last day of teaching is June 7th. Please reach out if interested!
