About Leksi

Hello! My name is Leksi, and I am a current freshman. I am planning on majoring in Psychology and minoring in Special Education in hopes of becoming a school psychologist! I have always enjoyed working with kids because it is so fun building relationships and watching the kids grow. Before coming to Minnesota, I spent a year working at a daycare in my hometown and I absolutely loved it. My favorite age group to work with was the 1-year-olds; it was such a privilege being able to watch them grow. During my time there, I earned my CPR and first aid certification for adults, pediatric, and infants. I also completed my Nevada Ready certification. I was so sad to leave that job, but I am looking forward to working with more families! In my free time, I like to do crafts, watch movies, and go to coffee shops!
