About Leilani

Hi , my name is Leilani ! I am 19 years old and currently a sophomore at Montclair State University studying Exercise Science. I grew up in South Jersey and spent most of my time on a softball field or with my big loving family. I would describe my experience with children more as a journey. I worked a preschool and was blessed to work with all ages from 11 months -12 years old. I learned so much about children and myself along the way. I'd describe my personality as well-rounded , caring and dependable. I like working with kids because it brings the youth out in me. I feel like I create a safe space for children to express and be themselves which makes me happy in the end. I like to create bonds with children to make them feel comfortable doing so.
