About Leila

I've enjoyed working as a nanny, camp counselor and assistant teacher. I truly enjoy helping kids learn and explore! At Drumlin Farm & Wildlife Center, a Mass Audubon sanctuary, I created and facilitated nature based environmental curriculum for elementary school children. At Artisan Childcare Center I was thrilled to work with infants 6 to 15 months. I volunteered at a number of local preschools as well. I first became CPR and First Aid certified in 2004 in order to be the most competent babysitter I could be. I have since renewed that certification numerous times and received the First Aid Award for excellent care at Drumlin Farm Summer Camp in 2009. As a nanny/babysitter, I picked kids up from school, brought them to afternoon activities, prepared meals, helped with homework and instrument practice (I am a violinist) and chaperoned bedtime routines. I am a nurturing and responsible presence.
