About Leighton

I am an outgoing, creative, encouraging, and compassionate caregiver. I value listening to children's needs, wants, and actions, and providing a safe and nurturing environment for them to grow and thrive. My experience as an early childhood educator has equipped me with a variety of skills, such as caring for neurodivergent children, navigating interpersonal dynamics, creative approaches to learning and communication, and a whole lot of patience! I have over 8 years of experience with ages 1 to 12 as a nanny and an educator. I have working proficiency in Spanish and French, and beginner level Arabic and Hebrew. I love to be outdoors, especially when exploring through a child's eyes. Some activities I enjoy doing are playing and learning music, making collages, collecting plants and flowers, scavenger hunts, baking, puzzles, and sensory activities. I am open to discussing household help such as laundry, errands, pet care, etc. I look forward to meeting you and your family!
