About Leigh

Experience: 5 yrs

Hi. I am a certified Monmouth County substitute teacher for the past 3 years. I have taken 21 courses/60 credits in Education and Psychology. I am a A/High B student and find test-taking easy. My strengths are in teaching comprehension of written material, study skills, vocabulary and helping students express themselves on paper. I enjoy helping children/adults to understand difficult texts and be able to respond. I currently work with K-7 students all subjects. I have observed a need for improvement in reading comprehension in subjects. I have experience with children with Aspergers, ADD/ADHD, behavioral, and mainstream students. I have references to that end.
