About Leidy

I am a responsible individual dedicated to fostering children's growth and development. I hold a professional degree and feel comfortable caring for up to three children within the following age groups: 0-11 months, 1-3 years, and 4-5 years. My approach is patient, creative, and friendly. I am currently studying English; my native language is Spanish. I previously worked as a nurse in Colombia and am continuing my professional development in the field of childcare at Madison College. CURRENT COURSES: CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), Shaken Baby Syndrome, Child Abuse and Neglect, and Abusive Head Trauma. I enjoy engaging in outdoor sports, playing board games, doing puzzles, and participating in educational games with children. I communicate with parents through daily written reports, verbal updates at pickup time, regular text messages or phone calls, and arts and crafts activities.
