About Leanne

Hi! My name is Leanne W. and I'm married with 2 grown children in their 20's. I've lived in Puyallup, WA for 7 years. Besides raising my own kids, I've had a career working with children and families. I graduated from the University of Nebraska with my bachelor's degree in psychology. After graduating, I did some Social Work with children at risk and provided foster care respite. I provided full-time childcare for various families in San Francisco, with whom I'm still friends and even a godparent. I created a play space in SF for preschool children to play indoors. I tutored K-5th grade for a few years here in the area, and most recently I became a childcare provider again.
