About Leann

I have provided child care in a variety of settings for over 40 years. I can tutor children in every subject as well as make learning a extremely enjoyable experience. Exercise and healthy eating are also important to develop in children of all ages. I have worked with seniors in nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, in their homes as a home health aid and as a live-in companion/caregiver. I have also been a caregiver for clients in my own home. I have worked with seniors as a personal trainer with the goal of keeping my clients out of nursing homes and wheelchairs. My childcare/tutoring/education experience is extensive. I grew up with 7 brothers. I ran a day care in my home for 13 years. I home-schooled my 4 children for 3 years. I worked as a substitute teacher for 3 years preschool-adult, as well as Special needs and correctional institutions. I worked as a nanny for 1 year recently. My hobbies are cooking/nutrition, volunteering at church and Boy Scouts of America.
