About Leah

From a young age I started babysitting children, many summers as a camp counselor and art teacher. Knowing that my passion was to teach children and love for art, I became a certified art teacher and taught in public school for many years before having my kids. Taking a maternity leave I raised my two children, now 18 and 20 years old, always babysitting neighborhood kids of all ages With over 30 years of teaching, babysitting and raising children, I am a very reliable, creative and confident person with experience caring for children from infant to teenager. I am organized, can easily multitask and be willing to do additional tasks in the home, errands and driving. As a single mother of two young adults who are in college and moved out, I am looking to fill my time working with children, help others and make extra money. I am currently a substitute for NYS Pre K program in public school. I am also CPR and First Aid certified.
